April 15, 2008: Project 13, "Granny Square Tote & Hat" Released.

This project demonstrates the creation of a sturdy tote and a matching hat. As with all of our videos, this project is available as a download or on DVD or CD disk.

April 12, 2008: Project 13, "Granny Square Tote & Hat" Coming Soon.

Work on our latest project video is nearing completion. "Project 13" will feature a sturdy Granny Square tote and matching hat. We expect that this new video will be released within a week and an e-mail will be sent to those who are signed up for our "New Products" mailing list when it becomes available.

February 8, 2008: Project 12, "Granny Square Slippers" Released

Our latest project has been released. You can check out both the CD/DVD and the download versions in the "Project Videos" section.

January 31, 2008: Project 12, "Granny Square Slippers" Nearing Completion

We're happy to report that our next new video is almost complete and should be released within the next week or so.

As you can see from the title, this new project video is focused on the creation of a pair of granny square slippers. Since granny squares are pretty easy to make, this might be a good project for someone who might be a bit intimidated by the idea of making a pair of slippers from a more traditional pattern. If you are already on our "New Products" mailing list, you will receive an e-mail notification when this new project video is released.

Expect another new video in the near future. The next project video will be coming sooner than normal this time -- probably within the next month. Check back here for more information about that project in two or three weeks.

January 20, 2008: Shooting Starts This Week For New Video

This week we will begin shooting our next project video. We will not be able to say exactly what it is at this point for one simple reason. Sometimes we start a project and find out after we start shooting that it just does not work well for video. We don't want to disappoint anyone who reads about an upcoming project here and then finds out it is canceled.

As soon as we are confident that we will be able to release the next project video we will announce what it is here with the expected release date.

October 30, 2007: Candy Cane Lapghan Released

Believe it or not, we did not actually plan it so that we could release the "Candy Cane Lapghan" the day before Halloween. Come to think of it, it probably would have been better for Christmas, but we did not want to wait that long.

As always, any information on our next project will be posted here. We'd like to hear your comments about an idea we have for a new video. A number of customers have asked us about creating a beginner knitting video that would be similar to our "Volume 1" video. October 27, 2007: Candy Cane Lapghan Video Almost Finished

The next video in our "Project" series is nearly complete. The video has been shot and is now being edited and readied for release. It should be released by the middle of the week if all goes well. Maybe even a little sooner.

What you see here is a quick photo of the Candy Cane Lapghan that we decided to put here to give you an idea what it looks like. It's not a particularly refined photo, but we think it serves its purpose here.

October 2, 2007: New Video Coming Soon

It has been quite a while since we have posted an update here and with the cooler weather coming, it's a good time to let you all know that we are in the planning stages of our next video. It's too soon to say exactly what it will be because Bende always likes to work through a project to make sure it will work out before we are able to say what it actually will be.

We may be doing something a little different this time, but don't worry, we guarantee it will be something good!

Just as soon as Bende gives the "all clear," we will post more details on the next video and hope to have it available by the end of the month or perhaps a little earlier.

June 30, 2007: Ripple Afghan Has Been Released

On June 20 we released the Ripple Afghan project video. When we have some information regarding the next video we will be working on, it will be posted here.

June 4, 2007: Ripple Afghan Preview

Here is just a quick shot of the ripple afghan Bende is working on for the next "project" video. She is nearly finished with it and that means we will be able to start shooting the video soon. This photo is just to show what the pattern looks like.

May 18, 2007: USPS Raises Rates

The United States Postal Service recently raised their rates significantly. We were surprised to find out that the cost to ship our smallest order had gone up by 50 cents.

It's been a while since we released a new video and we've been busy with the new design for the website and other projects. We are, however, in the early stages of preparation for our next video.

It will be a project-oriented video and will be one that customers have asked us to do on more than one occasion.

It is a little too early in the process to say exactly what the video will but we do want you to know that we are working on a new video and should be able to release it sometime later this month or early in June.
