Project 7 provides all the instruction required to create your own ripple afghan. This afghan, as demonstrated on the video, measures approximately 69 x 45 inches. This is a very popular design and has been one of our most-requested project videos so far.
Although this type of afghan may appear difficult to make, it is actually a very easy pattern and is made up of single crochet stitches only. It is also a very flexible pattern and could easily be adapted to make a number of other items such as a baby blanket, scarf or whatever else you would like to try!
All project videos are intended for people with some crochet experience. If you have already mastered the material in Beginner Volumes 1 and 3, you should be well prepared.
Running time is approximately 30 minutes. Language is English. File size is 221 Megabytes (MB). $9.97.
What you need: Worsted weight yarn in the following amounts: 16 ounces of white, 21 ounces each of the turquoise and multi-colored, a size H crochet hook and a tapestry needle or large sewing needle for weaving in ends. Please note that the amounts for the yarn suggested here are for making your afghan exactly as it is shown on the video and you will need to adjust the amounts if you intend to make changes to the pattern.
