Project 6 guides you through the creation of your own poncho. This poncho is very similar in style to the very popular Martha Stewart Coming Home Poncho that was featured on numerous television news broadcasts as well as on Martha's own show.
Stitches used to make this poncho are the chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet stitch and double crochet stitch.
The instructions on the video result in a poncho that is about 30 inches long at the front and back points, and about 22 inches long at the sides. However, it can easily be adapted to any length you desire. You can also adapt the neckline to a different length.
We call this the Fall Poncho because it is perfect for those cool fall days when you'd like a little something extra to keep you warm, but don't require a coat.
All project videos are intended for people with some crochet experience. If you have already mastered the material in Beginner Volumes 1 and 3, you should be well prepared.
Running time is approximately 69 minutes. Language is English. File size is 506 Megabytes (MB). $9.97.
What you will need: 4 6-ounce skeins of Lion Brand HOMESPUN® yarn and a size N crochet hook.
