Project 11 will guide you through each and every step needed to make your own Candy Cane Lapghan. It is made up of circles that are joined to form strips which are then joined to form the lapghan. This lapghan, as demonstrated, measures approximately 55 x 35 inches.
This lapghan is a very versatile pattern. It can be made into a baby afghan using baby yarn, or a more standard-sized afghan. It's very easy to adjust the size since all you would have to do is add more or fewer circles. Any two colors would be really pretty with this pattern. If you know how to chain, slip stitch and double crochet, then you can make this lapghan.
This project also shows you how to change colors as you go along. You can use yarn colors for holidays, such as black and orange for Halloween, red and white or red and green for Christmas. There are many possibilities. What a great gift for the holidays!
All project videos are intended for people with some crochet experience. If you have already mastered the material in Beginner Volumes 1 and 3, you should be well prepared.
Running time is approximately 36 minutes. Language is English. File size is 270 Megabytes (MB). $9.97.
What you need:
2-1/2 skeins of white and 2-1/2 skeins of pink 4-ply worsted weight acrylic yarn (skeins are 7 ounces each), size F crochet hook and a tapestry needle or large-eye needle for weaving in ends.
