If you receive your e-mail through an AOL e-mail account, please be aware that you may not receive the confirmation messages sent by our system when you place and order or any other e-mail message we attempt to send to you. You can still check your order status here on our web site, however.
AOL is well-known for their poorly-implemented spam control policies that block legitimate e-mail messages on a regular basis. Messages we have sent to customers with AOL e-mail addresses have been blocked in the past.
We have also managed to send e-mail successfully to AOL addresses at times, so we have no idea when our messages will be blocked.
The easy answer is to sign up for a free e-mail address from one of the many free e-mail services on the internet such as those offered by Yahoo! and Hotmail and then use those addresses when you place an order on our web site.
NOTE: AOL users considering the purchase of a download product should be sure to read item number 7 on our System Requirements page by clicking HERE.
A Few Words About Spam
Many people seem to misunderstand what exactly "spam" is. It is not, as some people seem to think, any e-mail message you receive that you do not happen to like. Spam, also known as "Unsolicited Commercial E-mail" or UCE, is any e-mail that you received that is of a commercial nature, and, this is the important part, you did not sign up for. In other words, you did not willingly supply your e-mail address to the sender of the message.
We do NOT send spam. In other words, any e-mail you received from us was received either because you placed an order on our web site or signed up for one of our mailing lists or free offers. When you willingly provide us with your e-mail address, you are agreeing to allow us to send you e-mail. When you sign up for one of our mailing lists or free offers, the messages you receive from us after that are not spam.
We are 100% in compliance with all spam laws and regulations. We do not like receiving spam any more than you do, and believe me, we receive our share!
If you have any questions relating to spam or anything else that relates to our e-mail policy, please feel free to contact us.
